If you are on one of our Windows based servers, then you will need to use the File Manager in siteadmin in order to make changes to file permissions.
The most common change you would need to make, is to make a folder writeable to allow a script to upload files to it.

Once you are logged in to siteadmin as described in this tutorial, click File Manager

You then need to click the httpdocs folder

In this tutorial, I'm altering the permissions on the folder images in httpdocs, if necessary you simply need to navigate until you can see the folder you wish to update.
Click the Padlock icon on the right hand on the screen, next to the folder you wish to update.

You then need to click the Plesk IIS User (third user below the user Administrators).

On the right hand side, you then simply need to click in the Full Control tickbox, and click OK. This will then enable your script to upload files into that folder.
